Permission and permits are NO LONGER distributed. Please respect the sovereignty of the Red Lake Reservation and do not trespass. The section from the Red Lake River Access to High Landing traverses primarily agricultural lands. Scenery is open and pastoral. During high bug years, this section of the river might be more enjoyable than others, particularly on a slightly breezy day.
