Riverside Park lies on the Clearwater River just upstream from the confluence of the Red Lake. There are several amenities in the park including carry-in canoe access. The park has a picnic shelter, toilets, drinking water, and is near to the rails to trails walkway for easy connection to town. Camping is allowed (check for fees). From the park it is about 14.5 river miles (23 km) to Old Crossing Treaty Historic Park in Huot. At average water levels, the journey takes about 4.5 hours. The current can be swift and flows through several class II rapids, making travel faster pace. Canoeing at low water levels will be difficult.
